It has been a long minute, but the music keeps on flowin. The sun is shining and the weather has been abnormally hot for early September, I finally understand where Cali gets its laid back vibe. The Cali crew Revolutionary Rhythm represents this easy vibe to the fullest. The group consists of two emcees and one dj, Predominance and Kid Abstrakt hold down the mics with on point flows while DJ Million Faces handles the cuts and scratches. Their sound is very reminiscent of the famous Cali hip hop group People Under the Stairs. Revolutionary Rhythms are close to dropping their new mixtape Art Gallery, but in the mean time they have released a new video for their track Cali Styles. They have recruited the veteran beatmaker and Cali native Freddie Joachim on the boards. The flows are smooth, the cuts are tight, and the beat is infectious, check out the video and stay tuned for the mixtape to drop.
