He doesn’t make just regular mash up albums; Amerigo Gazaway is a master of interweaving deconstructed soul samples with chopped up raps from such greats as De La Soul and Pharcyde. The new single takes Mos Def aka Yasiin Bey’s Travellin’ Man and is blended with Marvin Gaye’s Distant Lovers.
