Mr. Moods’s new jazz interpretation album Jazz Reinvented is a dope combination of classic jazz, downtempo, with some bangin hip hop production. The whole album has this chilled out mellow vibe, layered with some great jazz samples. This is a late night album, it should be listened to while smoking a bunch cigarettes, contemplating the night.

While Andreya Triana is working on her second album, the UK songstress released the single Song For A Friend. The basic and simplified combination of her vocals over the piano emphasizes the rawness of the lyrics. She speaks her heart on this single and I love it!

There is something special hearing a bangin horns section while watching monochromatic cinema. Myron & E’s new visuals for their single If I Gave You My Love shows the risks of love. I love the scenes of couples dancing, it really brings out that we are social beings and the joy that comes with that comfort. Myron & E will be dropping their debut album Broadway on the Stones Throw imprint this summer. You can download the song here

It has been over 7 years since J Dilla passed away, yet he is still probably the most prolific and gifted producer that hip hop will ever see. Throughout his career, he produced music for so many artists but the most impressive thing is all his music is still relevant today. A.L.out of the UK drops her Laid Back EP where she sings over Dilla beats.  Her smooth vocals create another deep layer over the tight production. Cop it!
