Danish electro soul duo Quadron has just released their sophomore album Avalanche. They continue from the highly acclaimed self titled debut album to push the boundaries and creating their own innovative sound. Coco’s soulful voice is so smooth, I amazed every time I hear it. Even though the production is more uptempo on this album, you can still relax to this album. Check out the track below with Kendrick Lamar. Highly Recommended!

In April, Spanish beat smiths Cookin Soul collaborated with Dutch femcee Melodee to release the LP My Tape Deck on the Jakarta Records imprint. MC Melodee delivers her signature smooth flow over some classic boom bap production. The single Think Twice flips Donald Byrd’s classic song to create a smooth delivery of modern jazzy hip hop. They have just released the visuals for the single Think Twice, the video is filmed in Curacao which pays respect to her Caribbean roots. I hope to see more releases from this collaboration. Check it out!

Polish duo Dj Czarny and Tas dropped their new album Passion.Music.Hiphop in early May. The talented pair incorporate turntablism and tight scratching into their jazzy boom bap style. The album flows quite well, creating a mellow vibe that gets you head nodding throughout. They get the likes of Raashan Ahmad, Kohndo, and Muneshine to drop a few rhymes, it creates another dope dimension to the album. Highly Recommended!
